We are very happy to announce our latest guest who will be giving a talk titled – Mindful Strides: Improve Your Running and Health with Meditation and the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection with Dr. Lisa Thomas-Emru.
Dr. Lisa Thomas-Emrus is a pioneering GP with extensive expertise in Lifestyle Medicine, Clinical Sexology, and Wellness Coaching. She was instrumental in setting up the first NHS Wellness Coaching and Lifestyle Medicine service, reflecting her commitment to integrative, patient-centered care. Dr. Lisa currently works both privately at Vale Wellness and within the NHS, blending traditional medicine with holistic approaches. As the founder of Revive Prescribed Meditation, she is passionate about using meditation to enhance physical and mental health. An ‘experienced beginner’ runner who enjoys being at the back of the pack, Dr. Lisa regularly participates in Parkrun and has taken on the SuperSix Challenge to push her own running limits. Her workshop focuses on the powerful connection between the mind, body, and spirit, helping runners improve performance, recovery, and overall well-being through meditation and mindfulness.
