Helen Hayes is our administrator for the Cardiff Running Show. As the Copy Editor for Ultrarunning World magazine she is no stranger to regulating media content and encountering the various daily challenges during launching an event. Helen will be part of the team at Sport Wales National Centre on October 5th to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Abichal (Kelvin) Sherrington has a history of running multiday races but has been focusing on Ultrarunning World magazine over the last few years and more recently on establishing the Bristol Running Show.
Originally from Pontypool he had the great fortune to have been witness to a great era of club and National Rugby epitomised by the phenomenal setup at Pontypool Park in the late 70’s and early 80’s before studying Social Science at Middlesex.
In 1990 he began to immerse himself in the teachings of the spiritual master Sri Chinmoy, embracing the teacher’s philosophy that running had immense benefits for the body, mind and soul.
Today Abichal works as a postman for Royal Mail based in Kingswood, East Bristol, gradually returning to running fitness and can still be found marshalling at the Bristol Sri Chinmoy Races events and running the occasional Parkrun.
